 why I always like to live in close proximity to a 24 hour corner shop so t
 hat I can grab a Crunchie or a Twix at any time of day or night\, he turne
 d to be an told me that I embodied something he called BORE-CORE. I think 
 what he meant is that I like to really sit in the more boring aspects of m
 y life. I like to think about them. I like to elevate them. In BORE-CORE o
 r Exploring The Art of The Mundane - A Writing Workshop we will be explori
 ng the ways in which artists\, writers\, filmmakers\, thinkers and even en
 tire movements pick at the domestic\, banal\, mundane and BORING aspects o
 f life and turn them into ART. We will be examining the work of Lydia Davi
 s\, Martha Rosler\, Yoko Ono\, William Carlos Williams and David Sedaris a
 nd responding to a series of writing prompts to create writing that turns 
 the idea of boredom on its head. All abilities welcome. Bring something to
