 ngs from that album and more\, performed by The Dung Beatles at The Chapel
  Arts Centre! About the band: from dozens of chart-topping hits to classic
 \, rarely played album tracks\, The Dung Beatles blend authentic arrangeme
 nts and top-drawer musicianship with high-energy performances. Such is the
  band's reputation established over the last decade to prompt David Stopps
  (founder and promoter of the legendary Friars Club in Aylesbury) to rate 
 them as "one of the best Beatles bands in the world". The band has played 
 hundreds of gigs\, from theatres to festivals to clubs\, including Aylesbu
 ry's Waterside (where they recently sold out the 1\,100 seater auditorium)
 \, Chesham's Elgiva theatre\, and The Cavern in Liverpool. They have also 
 been regular guests and live performers on BBC radio. Says band member Ste
 ve Hillier\, "we prefer to be known as a 'Beatles rock band'\, rather than
  'tribute'\, as there are no costumes\, wigs\, acting or backing tracks. A
 s our name suggests we don't take ourselves overly seriously\, preferring 
 to put all our efforts into doing the Beatles' music the justice it deserv
