  Artist Breakfast Talk on Saturday 10 October\, 8am.\n\nOpen to all creati
 ves in the region!\nHeld in WPCC Auditorium\nLight breakfast catering prov
 ided\n__\nSpeaker Bio:\nDr Shoufay 曉霏 Derz is an artist\, researcher a
 nd educator working on Gadigal Country\, Sydney. Her practice spans photog
 raphy\, moving image\, text and material processes\, often emerging throug
 h relational and process-based approaches. She has exhibited widely\, unde
 rtaken numerous residencies\, and her work is held in public and private c
 ollections.\nShe has taught across universities\, art schools and communit
 y programs\, and has worked internationally\, including several years in B
 erlin where she co-directed a contemporary arts project space\, curating e
 xhibitions and public programs\, supporting artist residencies\, and exten
 ding her practice into pedagogical forms. She holds a PhD from the Univers
 ity of Sydney on visual poetics of the ineffable and how ambiguity\, uncer
 tainty and what remains unsaid shape social\, cultural and institutional r
 elations.\nAt NAVA\, she coordinates professional learning initiatives acr
 oss metropolitan\, regional and remote NSW\, delivering programs that stre
 ngthen understanding and application of the Code of Practice for Visual Ar
 ts\, Craft and Design\, while advancing equitable\, accessible and sustain
 able practice across the sector. She's always happy to connect with artist
 s and arts workers\, and welcomes people to reach out while she's in Dubbo
  for the Art Fair.&nbsp\;\n__\nAbout NAVA and NAVA&rsquo\;s Code of Practi
 ceThe National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) is a membership orga
