 roup writing and recording original music in Los Angeles\, CA. The brainch
 ild of composer and guitarist Oren Hartov\, the group consists of some of 
 L.A.’s best session and touring musicians — with a smattering of out-o
 f-state players sitting in. At its heart\, Shaky Eddie is a jazz project 
 — but only in the loosest sense. Blues\, straight-ahead\, world music\, 
 Middle Eastern music\, rock\, funk\, bossa nova…it’s all part of what 
 we do\, and it features in all our recordings. If you like any or all of t

 /\n\nKevin Kanner\, a native of Southern California\, has already amassed 
 a large number of jazz credits including recordings with Paul Anka\, Bill 
 Holman (including 2006 and 2007 Grammy® nominated recordings)\, Gilbert C
 astellanos\, Melissa Morgan\, Annie Sellick\, Gail Wynters\, The Bud Shank
  Big Band\, Josh Nelson and Michael Buble. Kevin has also toured and perfo
 rmed with many artists and including John Pizzarelli\, Maureen McGovern\, 
 The Gilbert Castellanos Quintet\, The Bill Holman Band\, The Gerald Clayto
 n Trio\, The Clayton Brothers\, The Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra\, Lee 
 Konitz\, Bob Brookmeyer\, Larry Goldings\, Charles McPhearson\, Benny Gree
 n and many more. In addition to the vast amount of sideman work\, Kevin ha
 s also led perhaps the most well remembered jazz jam session in recent Los
  Angeles history at the historic venue\, the Mint. This session\, called G
 roove Pocket\, featured prominent underground hip hop DJ stars as well as 
 a weekly band that over the course of six years consisted of\, Ambrose Aki
 nmuserie\, Tim Green\, Gerald Clayton\, Harish Ragahavan\, Joe Sanders\, L
 arry Fuller\, James Westfall\, Charles Altura\, Hamilton Price and Josh Ne
