 t Samhain\, the veil between the living and the dead grows thin.\nLast yea
 r\, we danced around the fire for protection.\nThis year\, we cross it.\n
 \nGuided by the ancient myth of Persephone\, Queen of the Underworld\, we 
 descend into the unknown.\n\nShe descended.\nShe tasted the pomegranate.\n
 And she became bound to both worlds: to darkness and light\, to the Underw
 orld and the world above\, to death and rebirth.\n\nHer descent and return
  became a myth through which the ancient Greeks understood the changing of
  the seasons: the journey from one world into another\, from darkness towa
 rds light.\n\nAnd at Samhain\, we meet that same turning point: the end of
  the harvest and the beginning of winter.\n\nSo this year\, we bring these
  ancient traditions together in a night of mystery and transformation and 
 we will dance until the darkness gives way to light.\n\nStep through the v
 eil.\nFeel the beat.\nLet the transformation begin.\n\nFor one night\, the
  boundaries disappear and we become part of something beyond our world.\nA
