  our forefathers whilst maintaining a firm focus on what the future might 
 hold.\n\nThe first set of the night comes in the form of a songbook\, look
 ing back in time to shine a light on what many refer to as a golden phase 
 in British jazz\, 1965 - 1975. Luminaries such as Ian Carr\, Stan Tracey\,
  Mike Westbrook\, Michael Garrick & many others were in mystical form thro
 ughout this time\, kicking out album upon album of classics that were to s
 hape so much to come\, and in following years have been much cherished by 
 collectors & listeners alike. Through this programme\, Church Of Sound aim
 s to situate this phase as foundational to the continuum of British music
