\nBatt le Tales
\nBorn in 2013\, Battle Tales has now become a well known n ame of the swiss folk metal scene. The band's narrative approach in folklo ric tales and medieval-dark-fantasy stories\, combined with a boundless en ergy on stage\, has made them a very unique act in this ever-evolving genr e.
\nRight after the release of their first LP “The Ire of the Con demned” in 2018\, the four musicians directly took a big maturity step b y composing a 4-tracks EP about ancient tales from their home region. This record named "Lè lèjande dè vêr nô" ("the legends from our region" i n a regional dialect from Fribourg in Switzerland)\, released in 2019\, qu ickly received excellent feedbacks from the public and other actors of the scene.
\nIn September 2024\, Battle Tales released an ambitious 12- tracks LP called “Greed of a King”. Five years of work made this recor d reach an even higher level of musicality and narrative quality. To suppo rt the musical narrative\, the band developed a huge music videos project \, bringing to each song the attention it deserves during the album's TV-s eries-like episodic release.
\nShortly after the launch of the “Gr eed of a King” project\, Battle Tales had already totalized over 80'000 views on its Youtube channel\, got a more than 85'000 listen count on Spot ify\, and sold hundreds of CDs at live shows and on Bandcamp.
\nOver the past decade\, Battle Tales has been a constant presence in the Swiss and European metal scene\, playing dozens of shows across Switzerland\, Fr ance\, Belgium\, Luxemburg and Germany. Their energetic performance and en gaging stage presence have earned them a dedicated fanbase and opened the path to larger venues.
\nBetting on a high quality music production \, modern cross-media narrative project and extended promotion plan of the ir new album\, Battle Tales is more than ever determined to reach a wider audience and play shows all over Europe and beyond\, promoting their lates t music and older classics!
