  queer writing group at the Moseley Hive. Open to anyone who is disabled a

  a copy of the book Slugs: A Manifesto by artist Abi Palmer and a drink in

 ign - look for our co-hosts Alexia (a tall white person with short\, purpl
 e hair) and Ray (a short Black person with an afro).We will set off sluggi
 ng from the reception at 3pm\, so if you can please arrive by then as we w
 ill be in the gardens from this time and may be difficult to find. What is
  this? A slow\, slug-themed walk around a small easily accessible part of 
 the botanical garden. We will explore the artist Abi Palmer’s work Slugs
 : A Manifesto and bring copies of the book for everyone. We'll look at the
  evidence all around us of slow\, queer and non-abled experiences of life.
  Both of the group’s facilitators are disabled and neurodivergent so we 
 will draw on our own lived experience as well as research into the queer\,

 eenhouse. Please bring any seating you may desire\, we can help carry it i
 n. We’ll take it very slowly and work out our group access needs as we g
 o. Hot or cold drinks will be available at the end of the session\, either
  inside the cafe or outside on the terrace\, or in the warmth of the green
 house. The botanical garden closes at 5pm so that’s our finish time. On 
 the day health changes We absolutely understand and you don’t need to le
 t us know if you can no longer join us. We will try to send you a copy of
