 ses Vortrags ist die Casa Majahua\, ein von Luis Barragán in den 1950er J
 ahren erbautes Ferienhaus an der mexikanischen Pazifikküste. An einem ein
 samen Ort inmitten üppiger Natur gelegen\, wurde es nur für kurze Zeit g
 enutzt und ist seither zunehmend dem Verfall preisgegeben.\nAngesichts der
  Notwendigkeit\, dieses bedeutende architektonische Zeugnis vor dem Versch
 winden zu bewahren\, wurde das Haus im Rahmen der vom deutsch-mexikanische
 n Architekturstudio Zeller & Moye geleiteten Summer School der Architectur
 al Association School of Architecture umfassend dokumentiert. Anhand von B
 ildern und Filmausschnitten\, Zeichnungen\, Materialsammlungen und Entwür
 fen wirft der Vortrag einen Blick auf die Überreste der Casa Majahua sowi
 e auf Wiederverwendungs-\, Reparatur- und Überlagerungsstrategien und nac

  cooperation with the Barragan Foundation explores the work of Luis Barrag
 an from various perspectives. This talk focuses on Casa Majahua\, a holida
 y house built by Barragan in the 1950s. Situated on a remote stretch of Me
 xico’s Pacifi c coast\, the dwelling was used only briefly before eventu
 ally falling into disrepair within its encroaching\nnatural environment.\n
 \nThe urgency of preserving this little-known part of the architect’s le
 gacy led to the first comprehensive documentation of the house through the
  Architectural Association Summer School Programme\, directed by the Germa
 n-Mexican studio Zeller & Moye. Illustrated with archival and survey mater
 ials\, their lecture traces the remains of Casa Majahua and refl ects on s
 trategies of reuse\, repair and sustainable reactivation in the face of ph
