  scene: an internet-born music genre that reconstructs 80's Japanese pop i

 's “Plastic Love” became a viral hit primarily online\, contributing t
 o the recent city pop boom. He is also a collector of Showa-era cassette t
 apes and deeply admires Toshio Kadomatsu and Daft Punk. In 2019\, he launc
 hed the ‘Showa Groove’ series\, updating Showa-era pop for the modern 
 era. Starting with Wink\, he has released 19 titles to date\, including wo
 rks by Anri\, 1986 Omega Tribe\, Miki Matsubara\, Kaoru Akimoto\, Momoko K
 ikuchi\, Junko Yagami\, Kyoko Koizumi\, Takashi Hosokawa\, Taiha\, and Yu 
 Hayami.\n\nIn December 2021\, he released his first major-label original a
 lbum\, ‘Ladies In The City’. The following July\, he performed at Fuji
  Rock Festival ‘22\, and this August\, he made his debut appearance at S
 ummer Sonic 2023.\n\n Then\, carrying his second album 'Neo Standard’ r
 eleased on September 20th\, he held his Japan tour “The Night Tempo Show
 ”\, visiting four cities nationwide. Seeking to spread the appeal of 80'
 s Japanese Pops overseas\, he has been featured extensively on terrestrial
