 e bringing their dark\, atmospheric music to the stage\, a sound that feel
 s made for a haunting night. THE MUSICIANS JESTER AND THE FOOLS A queer\, 
 Magandjin-based\, experimental rock trio who delight in genre-hopping and 
 scathing satire. They boast a diverse catalogue ranging from ballads to hi
 gh energy jams stemming from their shared experiences of theatre\, jazz\, 
 and classical music. While this iteration of Jester and the Fools features
  all three musicians on vocals and songwriting\, becoming a fool is a simp
 le ceremony and their circus grows daily. POINTE An emerging five-piece al
 ternative rock band based in Meanjin/Brisbane. Formed by high school frien
 ds and inspired by bands such as Interpol\, Sonic Youth and noise rock\, P
 ointe creates sounds that are abrasive\, bittersweet and otherworldly\, ye
 t familiar. Vocalist Rose Fogarty sings introspective lyrics delivered wit
 h her ethereal voice\, accompanied by the intricate guitar playing of Jake
  Park and Daniel Power\, while the pulsating rhythms of bassist Jude Spann
  and drummer Evander Adams-Post drive each song. Pointe takes audiences to
  varying places at every show\, from quiet\, tender moments of introspecti
 on to head-banging riffs and experimental noise. VIDEOCOUCH Meanjin/Brisba
 ne-based alt-rock sextet ‘videocouch’ are best described by their etho
 s: authentic\, cathartic\, eclectic and intentional. Pulling from a range 
 of ambient\, classical\, folk\, indie\, jazz and post-punk influences\, th
 ey create a jagged yet beautiful collage of coming-of-age introspection. F
 ormed by schoolmates\, the group are unapologetically themselves\, sharing
  lead vocal duties\, trading instruments and including a three-piece horn 
 section. This genre-bending sound and shape-shifting lineup are the contro
 lled chaos that define ‘videocouch’\, the perfect storm that challenge
 s the status quo and pushes the boundaries of what it means to be an alt-r
