Come to experience a vibrating and reinvigorating Yoga prac tice followed by the meditative and contemplative practice of cyanotype. A n opportunity to relax and engage with the natural elements of the Schwarz park.
\nAfter a 45’ energising Yoga practice open to all l evels with Margherita\, we will journey into a realm through one of the oldest photographic technics: cyanotype\, literall y writing in cyan. The 19th century process allows us to capture and preserve time without using a camera producing blue-toned prints. We w ill enter a contemplative state and explore the numerous ways we can exper ience nature with a selection of leaves and flowers already prepared.
\ nThroughout the workshop\, each participant will create 6 small cyanotype postcards ready to take home.
\nAll the material s are included in the price\, though participants are welcomed to bring th eir own objects (negatives/personal objects) to experiment further.
\n< p>laura maggiore howald \;is a creative mind and photographer whose interests span from photographic experimentation and film to repres entation\, via pictures\, of our human psyche in relation to the natural e nvironment. Cyanotype has been an integral part of her artistic journey\, as a medium for reflection and connection with the natural world.\nChildren aged 12 years old and above are welcomed when accompanied by a ca regiver.
\nNo prior experience with cyanotype is required.
