DESCRIPTION:We're so excited to be back at one of our favourite cities for 
 a social on the 22nd of October. Venue is TBA!!! Think drinks\, games\, a 
 few introductions to groups of people with similar interests and everyone 
 single. Your ticket includes: - being matched using our technology with gr
 oups of people who have similar interests - light optional icebreakers - t
 eam haystack making introductions - access to our "missed connections" pro
 gramme where we invite people to connect who didn't exchange phone numbers
  (please note this is dependent on both sides expressing interest and ther
 e is a process in place) The plan: From 6pm - arrive\, grab a drink and ch
 at to some new people (94% of people come alone and we float around making
  intros). 7.30pm - head to your first table to meet a group of people who 
 we've used to science to curate you with. nothing intense\, just a half an
  hour drink in the sun with people with similar interests\, age appropriat
 e and who also happen to be single. we've updated our tech so groups are n
 ow optimised for both romantic but also platonic matches e.g people of you
 r gender who we hope could become mates. the whole point of these tables i
 s to feel like you're having a drink in the sun with friends\, with the ad
 ded bonus of meeting new people and knowing everyone is single. after half
  an hour\, we'll take a short drinks/bathroom break then you'll meet two m
 ore tables of people that we've curated\, again for two 30 minute sessions
 . After groups - everyone speaks to everyone and live music will kick off.

 n Bristol? FAQs Are dating events worth it? We have worked very hard to ma
 ke events for single people that don't feel like a typical "dating event" 
 which we know can feel very overwhelming. We just hire out great venues\, 
 invest into fun entertainment\, and match single people together into grou
 ps on the evening so you can go on multiple dates in a low-pressure enviro
 nment. There are always new dating apps popping up\, which all have the sa
 me culture of ghosting\, shallowness\, and let's be honest we can barely k
 eep up with our family's whatsapp chat let alone a dating app. What are ou
 r dating events? Our events use the power of tech to connect similar singl
 e people together. When you arrive to the venue you'll be greeted by our l
 ovely reps\, and then you'll be introduced to your matched group. Dependin
 g on the event we will introduce you to another one or two rounds of singl
 e people\, where we match you by differently weighting the parameters of t
 he algorithm. We re-invest profit into fun entertainment on the evening so
  you have a great night regardless - and host a range of events from relax
 ed drinks in a beer garden\, to something a bit more active like arcade ga
 mes\, to sporty events such as tag rugby or rock climbing. How do you matc
 h single people? When you buy a ticket you fill out a short form with some
  questions about yourself mapped around research we conducted to what lead
 s to meaningful connections. We then run this through our algorithm which 
 is a propietary points based matching system using python to detect simila
 rities between each person based on different parameters. We then spend ho
 urs going through each person to make sure there has been no discrepancies
  in the data and even more hours to make sure the group ages and ratios ar
 e appropriate. Afterwards we analyse each table to make sure they are plac
 ed near tables we think we will match well\, and that are in the best plac
 e in the venue based on what we know about the group. How does it work wit
 h data? All data is securely managed in line with our data policy\, both t
 his and our code of conduct can be found here How does it work with social
  media? We’re a sociable bunch and always like to take short video clips
  for our social media. We’ll always avoid faces wherever possible\, but 
 if you’d rather stay 100% off camera please just come and let the team k
 now on the night so we can make a conscious effort to keep you out of any 
 frame! What's the cancellation policy? There’s a huge amount of work beh
 ind the scenes before events to get everyone matched into great groups. If
  you need to transfer your ticket to a friend\, we do ask please that you 
 pop us an email with their name 7 days before an event so we can move thin
 gs around. As with every other events company in our space\, we are unable
  to facilitate refunds\, but we will always do our 100% best to find a sol
 ve!x What’s the age group? The average age is 33 but we tend to attract 
 from early 20s to mid 40s and groupings take age into account. Is this eve
 nt wheelchair accessible? Yes\, we will never work with a venue that isn
 ’t :) Is this a speed dating event? Absolutely not. The thought of havin
 g to effectively pitch yourself\, every two minutes\, to a stranger\, is o
 ur worst nightmare and feels the furthest thing in the world away from nat
 ural. These events are designed to feel organic and literally like you're 
 having a drink with a group of new friends\, in a great venue. You'll neve
 r see or feel any of the science we do behind the scenes and we match in g
 roups to take the pressure off a one on one meet-up. Zero pressure\, liter
 ally just fun\, kind people\, who have similar interests and also happen t
 o be single. 94% of people come alone\, which we've found creates a really
  friendly atmosphere where it never feels weird to strike up a conversatio
