DESCRIPTION:Joe Newberry and April Verch are rooted in the musical traditi
 ons of the Missouri Ozarks and Canada’s Ottawa Valley. Their partnership

 ed love of traditional music. Joe grew up in a family of singers and dance
 rs\, learning guitar\, banjo\, and fiddle tunes from Missouri masters. Apr
 il was raised around her father’s country dance band\, beginning step da
 ncing at three and fiddling at six. On stage\, their strong musical connec
 tion shines through original songs\, timeless classics\, and warm storytel
 ling\, paired with lively fiddle\, banjo\, and traditional dance. Internat
 ionally known for his clawhammer banjo\, Joe is also an award-winning song
 writer and vocalist\, with multiple IBMA honours and appearances on A Prai
 rie Home Companion and Transatlantic Sessions. April is a champion fiddler
 \, the first woman to win both major Canadian fiddling titles\, and leader
  of The April Verch Band\, with 14 solo recordings and numerous awards. Si
