Looking for something different than going out on a Saturday evening? Join us for a fun introduction to padel or for the mexicano tour nament\, perfect for absolute beginners\, occasional hobby players\, or te nnis enthusiasts looking to try something new. No previous experience is n eeded. After the event\, we will gather for a social evening and have a dr ink together\, you may bring something that you would like to share with t he others. \;

\n The venue has lockers \;and showe rs available.

Cost: 40 \;CHF per person. It i ncludes court rental\, rackets\, balls\, a drink\, and snacks after the ga me!\n
\n If you are a good former tennis player and have not tried pad el yet\, get the ticket of "Tournament Ticket"\, as long as you learn the rules beforehand through videos.\n
\n Newbies (50 CHF) will guided wit h an instructor / volunteer / event host sepeartely. \;

\n 19:40-19:50: Gather\n
\n 19:50: Quick ru le briefing &\; team division (first timers together)\n
\n 20:00 - 22:00: Play padel with the possible \;rotating matches\n
\n 22:00& nbsp\;onwards: Socialize\, chat\, and maybe find a training partner!

Game Rules:< /strong>\n
\n Because we’re using the Mexicano format\, expect max o ne break during the whole 2 hrs \;games\, \;in practice\, that mea ns each player is on court roughly 90-95% of the time. On average 1 game l asts 12 mins.\n
\n Scoring follows the Mexicano format\; for this even t\, note:

Every rally = 1 point.
\n
Serve switches to the other team every 2 points.
\n
The same player serves both serves (first from the right\, then from the left).
\n
A game ends when the combined score is 21 (e.g.\, 9–12\, 5–16\, 8–13\, etc.).\n
\n
The event is posted in several places and limited t o 22 \;people. Therefore\, make sure to:

Cancellation &\; Reselling Policy:

1. You may cancel the ticket up to 48 hrs. before the event and receive \;full refund for the initial ticket (FLEX tickets only). \n
\n 2. You may cancel your ticket between 48-24 hrs. before the even t and receive no refund (by informing the organizer).\n
\n 3. You may resell the ticket \;up to 48 hrs. before the event \;to someone in the CORRECT category\, it is your task to check and inform the organizer& nbsp\;from \;the group chat once it is completed. \;\n
\n 4. I n the last 24 hrs. No reselling is allowed. \;If for some reason you c an not attend anymore\, please contact the organizer. If you do not show u p without writing any message\, you may be suspended from the \;future padel events.
