SUMMARY:Non Canon debut album 10th anniversary seated show
LOCATION:Aces & Eights Saloon Bar
DESCRIPTION:Non Canon celebrates the 10th anniversary of his debut album wi
th an all-seated show at Aces & Eights.\n\nOriginally released by Xtra Mil
e Recordings (Frank Turner\, Will Varley\, Beans on Toast) the album will
be reissued in a super limited custom gatefold sleeve on 180g pink marble
vinyl\, available from noncanon.bandcamp.com\n\nNon Canon is the indiefolk
alter-ego of Bristol songwriter Barry Dolan (he/him). Starting as a tenta
tive side project away from playing big noisy riffs as Oxygen Thief\, this
diversion from his usual writing habits made Dolan’s poetic lyrics incr
easingly precise and personal\, with his intimate guitar playing embellish
ed by a string section and piano.\n\nNon Canon is for fans of Idlewild/Rod
dy Woomble\, Tim Kasher\, Bright Eyes\, and that bit at Manic Street Preac
hers gigs where James Dean Bradfield plays some acoustic songs on his own.
 \n\nPlus support to be announced.\n\nBoletos: https://dice.fm/event/8e7yk2
