DESCRIPTION:Build your confidence in recognising and managing paediatric ca
 rdiac emergencies with Paeds HeartSim\, a two-day multidisciplinary simula
 tion course.\n\nPaeds HeartSim is designed for clinicians who may be invol
 ved in the initial assessment and management of children with cardiac dise
 ase\, including those who present acutely to ED or deteriorate in the ward
  environment.\n\nAcross two days\, participants will explore practical app
 roaches to common and important paediatric cardiac presentations\, includi
 ng arrhythmias\, congenital heart disease\, the unwell neonate and post-op
 erative complications.\n\nThe course combines focused teaching with practi
 cal\, high-fidelity simulation and facilitated debriefing. Participants wi
 ll work through a range of realistic clinical scenarios\, providing opport
 unities to practise assessment and management\, clinical decision-making\,
  escalation of care and effective teamwork in a safe learning environment.
 \n\nTeaching is provided by an experienced multidisciplinary faculty from 
 paediatric cardiology\, critical care and simulation\, with an emphasis on
  translating cardiac knowledge into practical approaches that can be appli
 ed in the clinical setting.\n\nPaeds HeartSim is particularly suited to me
 dical and nursing staff who care for acutely unwell children and would lik
 e to develop their confidence in recognising and responding to paediatric
