  “Brothers” formed in 1969\, released their iconic album “At Fillmor
 e East”in 1971\, and played with various combinations until 2014. At the
  core of the group’s sound werethe two guitar harmonies and soaring solo
 s.We have created “Blue Sky Dogs” as a celebration of the ABB’s uniq
 ue sound.The Blue Sky Dogs came out of a special connection that lead guit
 arist\, Tom Kiefaber has to theABB. Tom's dad\, Tom Kiefaber Sr played bas
 s with Dickey Betts in "The Jokers" back in the60's before Dickey joined t
 he ABB. Rick Derringer referenced the Jokers in "Rock and Roll\,Hoochie Ko
 o" In 1970\, Tom's first musical memory is backstage at an Allman Brothers
  showwhen he was 4 years old. Tom and his dad Tom Sr hung around the broth
 erhood for many yearsand even joined them onstage a couple of times at Dee
 r Creek.The second guitar parts (actually the other first guitar parts!) a
 re placed in the capable hands ofIndianapolis’ guitar expert\, Sandy Wil
 liams. Sandy is a professor of music studies at DePauwUniversity and has p
 layed on hundreds of albums\, and too many bands to mention. Sandy’sinte
 rest in blues\, jazz\, country\, and rock make him the perfect fit.The Ham
 mond organ/piano parts and bass guitar lines are handled by longtime 3to1 
 Bandmembers\, Bill Mallers and Jon McKinney.“Blue Sky Dogs” bring the 
 ABB experience full circle with the “two drum” percussion section ofJo
 e O’ Connell and Nick Mallers. Their rolling rhythms will remind you why
  Jaimoe & Butchremain to be the greatest drum pair in rock history.The mus
