DESCRIPTION:Travels in a Cold Heaven - This is an illustrated talk about t
 he arctic\, its people\, its flora and fauna and the massive threat to its
  existence. The talk will shed light on what we can learn from indigenous 
 cultures\, the importance of our bonds with nature and how 'western white 
 colonialism has shaped our lives and\, unless change happens\, will contin
 ue to shape the future.Glenn has travelled extensively through Arctic regi
 ons living with the Inuit of Northern Greenland and Arctic Canada and foll
 owing in the footsteps of 'explorers' of the 'heroic Age'. He conceived th
 e 'Arctic Voice' project\, an environmental initiative designed to link yo
 ung people throughout the Arctic north with children in the U.K.Glenn has
