DESCRIPTION:Trans Liberation Group National Conference 2026Are you a trans
  person living in Britain\, or an ally in the fight for trans liberation? 
 Join us in Manchester on the 26th and 27th September for Trans Liberation 
 Group’s first National Conference\, where we’ll plot a path for the co
 ming year of struggle against transphobia\, patriarchy\, and capitalism in
  Britain. (Please note that while conference is open to non-members\, only
  onboarded members\, will be eligible to speak and vote in our constitutio
 nal sessions). You can sign up to join TLG today\, and we will also be run
 ning onboarding sessions each morning of Conference for any attendees who 
 want to join TLG. Who are TLG?Trans Liberation Group is a national trans-l
 ed democratic organisation. We believe that it's urgent not just to fight 
 back against the current attacks on trans rights\, but also to win true tr
 ans liberation - not only an end to discrimination against trans people be
 cause of their identity\, but also an end to all other forms of oppression
  that effect trans people disproportionately\, whether that be the dismant
 ling of public healthcare\, which particularly impacts trans kids and tran
 s people unable to afford private healthcare\, or the lack of good well-pa
 id jobs or quality affordable housing\, which particularly impact trans pe
 ople who are likely to face both employment and housing discrimination. We
  aim to do this by building co-ordinated and consistent national organisin
 g for trans liberation\, by developing our members into organisers\, inter
 vening in trade unions and political parties to secure material support\, 
 and working with existing trans liberation organisations and activists. Wh
 at is the TLG National Conference?Our National Conference is an opportunit
 y for our members to set the direction of Trans Liberation Group for the n
 ext year\, as well as an invitation to anyone who wants to work with us\, 
 find out more\, or join in the discussion about how we will win trans libe
 ration.As part of the weekend\, TLG members will be hearing\, debating\, a
 nd voting on motions as part of our refounding process\, seeking to build 
 an organisation that can resist and eventually reverse the transphobic ons
 laught in Britain. But that’s not all - there will be talks\, workshops\

 Everyone - whether you’re trans or cis\, you’re welcome so long as you
  share our goal of a society where nobody’s oppressed for being who they
