DESCRIPTION:Australian singer-songwriter John Kennedy returns from Europe f
 or an East Coast Tour this summer. He has survived a stroke\, crossed cont
 inents\, and emerged with an album that sounds nothing like business as us
 ual. Following his stroke in 2025\, Kennedy relocated to Berlin\, where fo
 rmer bandmate Moe Jaksch challenged him to leave his familiar pop-rock ter
 ritory behind. Their Rocking Chair Studio sessions produced three songs Ke
 nnedy dubbed The Berlin Trilogy\, a tongue-in-cheek nod to David Bowie’s
  Berlin years. The project grew after Kennedy moved to Spain\, bringing to
 gether an international cast. The result is a fresh\, contemporary take on
  Kennedy’s distinctive Urban and Western sound\, adventurous\, collabora
 tive and\, in Jaksch’s charming words\, “not the same old Kennedy shit
 ”. Kennedy will be playing in duo made with his bandmate\, original Red 
 Wiggle Murray Cook. The show will feature songs from The Berlin Trilogy (A
 nd Other Collaborations) album which is available now on I-94 Bar Records.
  The Urban and Western hits will also be heard. Brisbane's own Hillsboroug
 h (duo) will be opening proceedings on the night. Kennedy will also be pro
