  setting. Known worldwide for his richly expressive blend of jazz\, Brazil
 ian and world music influences\, Costa has collaborated with an extraordin
 ary roster of artists including Randy Brecker\, Ron Carter\, John Patitucc
 i\, Mike Stern\, Hermeto Pascoal\, Dave Liebman\, Ivan Lins and Dave Dougl
 as. His music reflects his mixed cultural background as well as his deep c
 onnection to the natural environment\, bringing together philosophical con
 cepts\, modern jazz colours and world music rhythms. His work has been fea
 tured by Rolling Stone Magazine\, Sky and the BBC\, among many leading int
 ernational media outlets. Having performed across six continents and recei
 ved silver and gold medals at the Global Music Awards\, Costa is regarded 
 as one of contemporary jazz’s most sophisticated and internationally res
