 he Cultural Revolution in China. She is also a translator and cultural com
 mentator. After some forty-odd years writing about China\, she has turned 
 her attention to Spain with The Shortest History of Madrid. \n\nJohn Zubrz
 ycki is the author of seven acclaimed books on India that have been publis
 hed internationally and translated into almost a dozen languages. His book
 s include Dethroned: The Downfall of India's Princely States and The Short
 est History of India. He has a PhD in Indian history from the University o
 f New South Wales and has lived and worked in India as a diplomat and fore
 ign correspondent. \n\nSatyajit Das is an internationally respected finan
 cier with half a century’s experience\, named in 2014 by Bloomberg as on
 e of the fifty most influential financial thinkers in the world. He is the
  author of several works on the finance\, money and society\, and eco-tour
 ism. His latest book is The Everything Bubble\, due out in the first half
