 1926–1998) prägte das Design der Nachkriegszeit wie kaum ein anderer. S
 ein Geburtstag jährt sich 2026 zum 100. Mal. Aus diesem Anlass widmet das
  Vitra Design Museum ihm eine große Ausstellung im Vitra Schaudepot\, die
  Pantons Schaffen in seiner ganzen Vielfalt zeigt – von ikonischen Entw
 ürfen wie dem »Panton Chair« über Leuchten und Textildesigns bis hin z
 u seiner wenig bekannten Architektur. Eine begehbare Rekonstruktion der le
 gendären »Fantasy Landscape« (1/8) 1970\, macht Pantons revolutionäres
  Raumverständnis und den Aufbruchsgeist jener Zeit unmittelbar erfahrbar.
  Die Ausstellungsgestaltung verwandelt seine skulpturalen\, farbstarken We
 lten in ein immersives Erlebnis. Grundlage der Schau bildet die umfangreic
 he Verner Panton-Sammlung im Vitra Design Museum\, die zu den bedeutendste
 n ihrer Art zählt und eine einzigartige Fülle von Objekten\, Zeichnungen
 \, Modellen und Archivalien umfasst. Die Werkschau\, die in enger Zusammen
 arbeit mit der Verner Panton Design AG entsteht\, lädt dazu ein\, einen g
 roßen Designer neu zu entdecken – zwischen Pop\, Utopie und organischen

 hat continue to fascinate us today: the Danish architect and designer Vern
 er Panton (1926–1998) shaped post-war design like few others. To celebra
 te the centenary of his birth\, the Vitra Design Museum will dedicate a ma
 jor exhibition at the Vitra Schaudepot to Panton’s work. Showcasing the 
 full breadth of his creative output – from iconic pieces like the »Pant
 on Chair« to his lighting and textile designs – it will also feature se
 veral of his little-known architectural projects. A walk-in reconstruction
  of the legendary »Fantasy Landscape« (1/8) 1970\, brings Panton’s rev
 olutionary understanding of space and the spirit of the era vividly to lif
 e. The exhibition design transforms his sculptural\, colour-rich worlds in
 to an immersive experience. The show is based on the extensive Verner Pant
 on Collection at the Vitra Design Museum\, which is one of the most import
 ant of its kind and comprises a unique wealth of objects\, drawings\, mode
 ls and archival materials. The exhibition\, created in close collaboration
  with Verner Panton Design AG\, invites visitors to rediscover a visionary
