 thovens Zeit zwar noch nicht\, aber den ikonischen Beginn schlechthin für
  eine Sinfonie zu entwerfen ist ihm trotzdem gelungen. Auch wer sich noch 
 so entschieden von der Klassik fernhalten möchte\, am prägnanten Vier-To
 n-Motiv von Beethovens Fünfter kommt keiner vorbei. \nUnd diese Sinfonie 
 löst ein\, was ihr Anfang verspricht. Sie dauert keine halbe Stunde\, abe
 r eine halbe Stunde die Luft anhalten ist schwer genug – und zum Atmen k
 ommt man kaum\, so energiegeladen\, so kraftstrotzend ist diese Musik. »S
 chicksalssinfonie« wurde sie genannt\, weil Beethoven gesagt haben soll\,
  das Schicksal würde so an die Tür pochen. Echt? Egal. Was er definitiv 
 wirklich gesagt hat\, hat mit der Wucht der drei Posaunen zu tun\, die hie
 r zum ersten Mal in einer Sinfonie eingesetzt werden. »Die Sinfonie ist m
 it 3 Posaunen und flautino – zwar nicht 3 Pauken\, wird aber mehr Lärm 
 als 6 Pauken und zwar bessern Lärm machen.« Besserer Lärm geht nicht\,
