  8 to 12\, 2027\, Hamburg will once again host the world’s biggest triat
 hlon event. By staging the Grand Finals for the very first time\, the city
  will become the centre of international elite triathlon for five unforget
 table days.\n\nTwenty years after hosting its first World Championship eve
 nt\, the city on the Elbe will once again welcome the world’s best triat
 hletes. Following the World Championships in 2007 and 2023\, the 2027 edit
 ion marks the next milestone in Hamburg’s triathlon history\, featuring 
 the season finale and all world title decisions in one spectacular event w
 eek.\n\nMore than 500\,000 spectators lining the compact city-centre cours
 es around Rathausmarkt\, Jungfernstieg and the Alster highlight the extrao
 rdinary scale and atmosphere of the event. Over the course of the week\, m
 ore than 16\,000 participants\, alongside support staff\, officials and gu
 ests from over 70 nations\, are expected in Hamburg.\n\nTraditionally\, th
 e SUZUKI World Triathlon Hamburg presented by HAMBURG WASSER will also hos
 t the Sprint and Standard Distance Open Races\, which will celebrate their
  25th anniversary in 2027.\n\nOnline registration for the Open Races is sc
