DESCRIPTION:Jannie du Toit and Friends hold a concert entirely in aid of th
 e NCPD (National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities). Together w
 ith close friends and a very special guest\, Jannie will sing songs that h
 e and his friends have been singing together for decades around braai fire
 s and gatherings at each other's homes\, sometimes on stage. The special g
 uest is a household name – the singer Frieda van den Heever who is makin
 g more and more headlines with her songs and has a special heart for perso
 ns with disabilities. She has something very specific to say in her art an
 d she enchants audiences with her stage presentation and piano accompanime
 nt. There is also Jannie's long-time friend singer-actor Lochner de Kock\,
  Lars Franzsen's band LEGACY and some more Franzsens: Karin\, Riël and Ta
 nja\; also a son-in-law\, songwriter/singer Dirk Aldrich. Last\, but not b
 y any means the least\, there is another friend since the eighties the bri
 lliant pianist Johan Heystek – who is working with Jannie this year in h
 is production RAMKIETJIE. He will be touring with Jannie in the Cape when 
 the concert takes place. The NCPD is a non-profit organization of 87 years
 ’ standing that dedicates its activities to promoting the interests of p
 ersons with disabilities\, including through raising public awareness\, ad
 vocacy\, support and services that enable this ever increasing segment of 
 our population to socially and economically integrate into the broader Sou
 th African society. The funds raised on 28 October 2026 will contribute to
  the NCPD’s continued work to improve the lives\, opportunities and incl
 usion of persons with disabilities. Therina Wentzel-Du Toit\, National Dir
 ector of the NCPD\, expresses her sincere appreciation for this initiative
  and everyone's participation\, which will make a much-needed contribution
