DESCRIPTION:Shared Surfaces is a participatory textile workshop inviting th
 e public to engage in slow\, tactile making through stitching\, collaging
 \, and weaving. Rooted in my residency focus\, which explores themes of me
 mory\, domestic textiles\, and material histories\, this program offers an
  opportunity for participants to work directly with the same materials and
  processes that inform my work.​ Participants will be guided in creating
  small textile compositions using a curated selection of cotton\, linen\, 
 and reclaimed textile fragments. Working within simple frameworks—such a
 s embroidery hoops or small weaving structures—each person will stitch\,
  layer\, interlace\, and secure materials using basic hand-sewing and weav
 ing techniques. The focus is not on technical precision\, but on intuitive
  placement\, touch\, and the act of holding and connecting materials. Prog
 ram Structure:​ The evening will begin with a brief introduction to my w
 ork and an overview of the materials and processes. Participants will then
  work independently\, with guidance and support\, in a relaxed\, open stud
 io environment. The program is intended to feel welcoming and informal—p
 articipants are invited to settle into the rhythm of making\, with light r
 efreshments (wine and snacks) offered to support a relaxed\, social enviro
 nment. Materials Provided:​ All materials will be provided\, including:
