 Kristal weaves voice\, rhythm and sound together to guide participants int
 o a deeper relationship with their words\, bodies and stories.Through shar
 ed prompts\, musical improvisation and embodied practice\, we’ll journey
  into the origins of poetry and ask:Where does poetry come from? Where doe
 s it live in our bodies? Why did humans create it? Who gets to have access
  to it? And how do we embody the written word?We’ll explore the stories 
 we carry and the stories we choose to tell. Why do I want to tell this sto
 ry? Why do I get to tell this story?Along the way\, you’ll be offered gr
 ounding and relaxation tools to soften the body\, release performance tens
 ion and connect more deeply with your voice.Come as you are. Bring your wo

 pen\, or whatever you prefer to write with. If you already have a poem\, u

 you're very welcome to bring it - but there is absolutely no requirement t
