 \, professional and amateur comedians take the stage to showcase their mat
 erial\, some working out brand-new jokes\, others perfecting their sets. Y
 ou’ll catch pro comics workshopping the bits they’re most excited abou
 t alongside up-and-coming talent sharpening their material and stage prese
 nce.\nAs an audience\, you get a chance to see what the Vancouver stand-up
  comedy scene is all about\, with comedians featured on CBC\, Just For Lau
 ghs\, Comedy Central\, HBO and more.\nAnd the timing couldn’t be better:
  Water Street goes car-free every Sunday this summer\, so make a day of it
  in Gastown. Wander the neighbourhood all afternoon\, then head upstairs t
 o cap off your Sunday with live comedy.\nPresented in the Salazar Stage 
 (main floor). Doors 6:30pm\, show 7pm. Every Sunday\, July 12 – Septembe
 r 6.\nAccessibility\nPlease note that the venue has two separate spaces\, 
 upstairs and downstairs. All show listings should indicate which room they
 ’re in on the description. Please ensure you note the location as both s
 paces do not have the same level of accessibility.\nThe front entrance has
  power assisted doors.\nThere’s a powered lift from street level to the 
 main performance space.\nThe venue has six private washrooms on the main f
 loor\, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door. The th
 eatre doors to the main space are not power assisted at this time. The sec
 ond floor is not accessible and is up two flights of stairs.\nWe encourage
  patrons requiring wheelchair seating message us ahead of performances so
