DESCRIPTION:very pleased to welcome back Ana Roxanne to Manchester\n\nBorn 
 and raised in the Bay Area and currently based in New York City\, Ana Roxa
 nne is a composer and vocalist whose personal\, subtly experimental style 
 has been described as "introverted euphoria" by Resident Advisor and "ecst
 atic" by Pitchfork. Most recently\, Roxannechanneled her heartbreak and gr
 ief into 'Poem 1'\, her second album and most unguarded statement to date.
  A blend of decelerated jazz\, minimalism and vocal folk forms that's mark
 ed by an awareness of ambient musics\, the album plays out like catharsis
 \, finding hope in the subtlety\, slowness and smoky sadness of its piano 
 themes\, vulnerable vocals and dissociated synthesizer drones.\n\nRoxanne 
 grew up fascinated by jazz\, R&B and classical music\, locked into Bay Are
 a radio and her parents' record collections. And after moving to rural Iow
 a to study music at community college\, she became involved in a choral pr
 ogram that whisked her across the country. But it was a trip to Uttarakhan
 d in India\, where she traveled to learn traditional Hindustani vocal tech
 niques\, that truly reshaped her outlook. On her return to the USA\, she e
 nrolled at Oakland's prestigious Mills College and began sculpting her sig
 nature sound\, dubbing a handful of experiments on her debut EP '~~~'. Ori
 ginally passed around only to friends in 2015\, the record made its way to
  Leaving Records who reissued it in 2019 and its meditative\, restorative 
 songs struck a chord with listeners and critics alike.\n\nA year later\, R
 oxanne signed with Kranky and released her debut album proper\, 'Because o
 f a Flower'\, using a lifetime of inspiration and emotional anguish to dri
 ve songs that looped dreampop with West Coast new age sounds and trip-hop 
 with classical music\, yet sounded startlingly personal. It's no surprise 
 that the Guardian described the album as "a magical pop-ambient mirrorworl
 d". And she followed the released with a run of high-profile worldwide sho
 ws and festival appearances\, performing at London's inaugural Pitchfork M
 usic Festival and Le Guess Who in 2021\, Amsterdam's cult club music expo 
 Dekmantel and Sydney's City Recital Hall in 2022\, Rewire Festival in 2022
  and Glastonbury in 2024.\n\nAside from defining her point of view as a so
 lo artist\, Roxanne has quickly developed a powerful voice as a composer a
 nd collaborator. She began scoring work in 2022\, working with artist Bern
 ie Krause on 'The Great Animal Orchestra'\, a commission for the Fondation
  Cartier and most recently teamed up with director James L. Robinson on th
 e award-winning feature 'First Light'\, that's set for release in 2026. Re
 working Beverly Glenn-Copeland's timeless 'Old Melody' for 'Keyboard Fanta
 sies Reimagined' in 2021\, Roxanne also worked alongside DJ/producer Brian
  Piñeyro (aka DJ Python) on the Mexican Summer-released 'Natural Wonder B
 eauty Concept' LP.\n\n----\n\nElucyve (Lucy Green) is a composer and produ
 cer creating emotionally driven work that sits between beauty and instabil
 ity. Blending contemporary classical with electronic harshness\, her music
  drifts through fragile\, intimate texture before breaking into noise and
