DESCRIPTION:TRANSIT 001 is the first iteration of an ongoing mobile program
 me in Hull that relocates electronic music beyond conventional club and ga
 llery settings. Operating from a white Transit van at an undisclosed site
 \, the project treats the vehicle as a temporary listening room\, stage an
 d point of encounter. For this inaugural edition\, Porto based avant-garde
  label Perf is invited to shape the programme\, bringing together one-hour
  performances by Tendency\, Medlock and Quiet Husband. The location remain
 s undisclosed until a few days before the event\, encouraging movement\, a
 nticipation and a temporary community formed around sound. Rooted in Hull
 ’s long history as a city of movement\, industry and exchange\, Transit 
 001 proposes a portable architecture for listening\, where context\, journ
