 Folk and Black Bear Lodge present four exciting queer songwriters. Welcome
  to Lavender Country. With their infectious pop hooks and dynamic wall-of-
 sound\, Fletcher Dunn has been compared to 5 Seconds Of Summer\, Broadside
 \, & G-Flip for their sonic similarities & lyrical themes of mental health
  & queer issues. Mathilde Anne writes music for the strange and tender-hea
 rted. The Australian alt-pop artist weaves haunting\, introspective songwr
 iting with atmospheric pop and folk storytelling. Drawing inspiration from
  Billie Eilish\, Patrick Watson and The Cranberries\, her music explores g
 rief\, self-acceptance and empowerment. Pearl Hart wasn’t born\, but cam
 e out of an oyster that washed upon the Obi river banks. From a humiliatin
 g dedication to telling the truth as a recovering liar\, she turned to son
 gs. Stories about owls and bus stops and sleep\, abandoned houses and ladd
 ers leading nowhere. She uses codes from folk music\, rock music\, the rhy
 thm of a good joke and the sound of church bells in attempts to tell a sto
 ry about something undefined. STAN are a Magandjin based three-piece alter
 native rock band making fuzzy\, scrappy guitar music. Founder\, vocalist a
 nd songwriter Stan crafts every witty and candid lyric with their soul bar
 e\, tackling themes of mental health\, loss\, addiction and identity. Stan
  is now a year into transition and finding his feet as a singer with a not
 iceably deeper voice. It's a big journey and he couldn't be more excited f
