 h December 2026 Viking Skull were formed in Corby \, Northamptonshire in 2
 002 [ by Raging Speedhorn members Frank Regan\, Darren Smith (both guitar)
  and Gordon Morrison (drums)\, along with their guitar technician Roddy St
 one (vocals) and their merchandising manager Kevin "Waldie" James (bass). 
 After playing at local shows for a number of months\, the band recorded th
 eir debut (EP) Chapter one over the course of two days with a budget of ap
 proximately £500\, releasing the finished product in 2003 through Grand U
 nion Recordings. Chapter One was received positively by critics\, with Met
 al Hammer magazine awarding its first 11 out of 10 review to the EP Viking
  Skull toured throughout 2004 in support of acts including Dio \, HIM \, S
 um 41 \, Alice Cooper and Brides of Destruction \, as well as performing a
 t that year's Download Festival .In November\, the group supported Murderd
 olls frontman Wednesday 13 on a tour of the UK. ] However\, Regan left the
  band part way through the tour forcing Stone to take on guitar duties. La
 ter tour dates included support slots for Clutch and CKY. The band release
 d their first full-length studio album\, Born in Hell \, in November 2005 
 and toured once again with CKY throughout Europe. And toured the Uk with H
 yeseed Dixie and Europe as well as Download festival. In September 2006 it
  was announced that both Smith and Morrison had left the band\, with Julia
 n "Jules" Cooper and Jess Margera replacing the departed members\, The rec
 ording of the new line-up's first album was funded by Margera and took pla
 ce in Philadelphia . ] The result\, Chapter Two \, was released in Septemb
 er 2007 and featured guest appearances from Fireball Ministry 's Reverend 
 James Rota\, Rich Vose of Gnarkill and Unkle Matt and the ShitBirdz\, and 
 CKY guitarist Chad I Ginsburg . ] "Blackened Sunrise" was also featured on
  Bam Margera 's compilation album Viva la Bands\, Volume 2 \, and a music 
 video directed by Bam and recorded in West Chester was released for the so
 ng. A short promotional tour for the album took place in the UK in January
  2008\, with support from Year Long Disaster . In 2022 Frank and Gordon go
 t to work on getting viking Skull Back together the members now are Frank 
 Regan – Vocals/ Guitar \, Dominic Wallace – Guitar\, Aaron Hastings
