 emember 5th\n\nOOIOO has always created a musical language all its own. Un
 der the leadership of YoshimiO\, a founding member of Boredoms\, the group
  has recorded music that have subverted expectations and warped perception
 s of what constitutes pop and experimental music.\n\nOOIOO began as a fict
 itious band for a photo shoot for Switch magazine in 1996. The all-female 
 four-piece ensemble includes Yoshimi\, guitarist Kayan\, bassist Aya and R
 itsuko Mishina on drums. The band quickly gained attention by being the op
 ening act for Sonic Youth in 1997. While the band’s tours of the United 
 States are infrequent\, they are as the New York Times has stated\, transc
 endent - taking their love of indigenous music into an entirely new dimens
 ion by freely weaving organic and electric tones into a vivid tapestry\, e
 mploying their keen sense of color and texture.\n\nOOIOO's music is consta
 ntly evolving from release to release\, from one band to another. Intense 
 performers and creators\, drawing from a wide range of influences\, the ba
 nd has invented a heartfelt musical language that is eclectic yet accessib
 le and completely their own - dense and frantic. OOIOO has always been the
  best outlet from YoshimiO to articulate her unique talents and swirling\,
  dreamy tunes.\n\n\\--\n\nHassan K is the solo project of Franco-Iranian a
 rtist Keyvane Alinaghi. A sound artist and DIY tinkerer\, hacker using fre
 e software. On stage\, he performs a unique and extreme live experience\, 
 bordering on trance. He crafts and repurposes traditional instruments (a m
 icrotonal guitar enhanced with sensors\, a robotic santoor\, an electric z
 urna) to get as close as possible to the audience and create compositions 
 at the intersection of mystical Persian rituals and contemporary music. Bo

 \, cyber-metal\, electronica\, harsh noise\, and rock in opposition\, ampl
