 agic with a special outdoor experience at Muratie Wine Estate. Dirtopia’
 s Sunset to Full Moon Hike invites you to enjoy a marked trail to the look
 out point above the cellar\, as the sun dips below the horizon towards Cap
 e Town and the moon begins its gentle rise behind Simonsberg. It’s a bea
 utiful way to have a bit of an adventure\, connect with nature\, and soak 
 up the atmosphere of an early Autumn evening on the mountain.\n\nBring alo
 ng a picnic and enjoy breathtaking views with a glass of Muratie’s award
 -winning wine at the top. After sunset\, continue the adventure as the tra
 il winds back through the forest\, illuminated by your headlamp under the 
 full moon.\nThe circular route takes hikers on a marked route of 3.5km in 
 total and with over 200 hand-built steps. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to the
  look-out going up\, depending on your pace of course. Plan your arrival a
 nytime at Dirtopia Trail Centre on Muratie from 5.15pm\, but no later than
  6.00pm.\nThe marked hiking trail leads to a lookout point\, where you can
  marvel at views of Simonsberg\, the Winelands\, and even Table Mountain. 
 Here\, you can buy four Muratie wines from the MCC\, Dry Rose\, Laurens Ca
 mpher or the Melck’s Dry Red blend.\nAfter sunset & moonrise (by 19h15)
 \, it only takes about 20 to 30 minutes back to Dirtopia Trail Centre.\nWh
 at to Bring:\nA backpack with your own food/picnic and blanket for the loo
 kout point.\n\nJacket/sweater for after dark.\n\nA torch or headlamp.\n\nG
 ood walking or hiking shoes for varied terrain.\n\nWhat to Expect:\nMurati
 e wines by the glass or bottle are available at the look-out.\n\nSnacks li
 ke chips & energy bars and cooldrinks are on sale at the Trail Centre\, wh
 ere you’ll also collect your permit on arrival. Coffee will be sold at t
