DESCRIPTION:**Cor de Lux** is a 4-piece band from North Carolina known for 
 their dual-guitar interplay with added garage rock energy\, jazz and avant
 -garde elements. The four of them create what comes natural\; a rhythm-anc
 hored\, abstract sound that is loaded with angular chords and riffs.\n\nIn
  2025\, the band toured as direct support for BRNDA and were direct suppor
 t for two of Superchunk’s South East dates. In 2023\, the band was direc
 t support for part of Pile’s east coast tour. Since 2022\, they have bee
 n a prominent force in the North Carolina scene\, opening for bands such a
 s Sweeping Promises\, Archers of Loaf\, Omni\, Cola\, and Blondshell.\n\n*
 *JD Pinkus Triptych** - When Kramer's brief tenure as bass guitarist for B
 utthole Surfers ended in the autumn of 1985\, he was replaced by a young k
 id named Jeff Pinkus. With the exception of one or two brief interruptions
  over the three decades that followed\, Jeff remained with the band until 
 they stopped being an active performing unit. He is now JD PINKUS\, a frig
 hteningly psychedelic master of the fungus-shui banjo. He sleeps late\, co
 llaborates frequently\, tours incessantly\, and lives in Asheville\, North
