 rkshop is organised in collaboration with the Wüstenrot Foundation.\nThis
  workshop takes place as part of the exhibition »Geoffrey Bawa: Architect
 ure for the Senses« at the Vitra Design Museum\, which features the film 
 installation »Through Lunuganga« by filmmaker and artist Kavindu Sivaraj
 .\nIn this full-day workshop\, participants will explore how images can co
 mmunicate with one another. The focus is on creating a visual dialogue bet
 ween photographs or video works by identifying shared elements such as lig
 ht\, form\, rhythm or the underlying intention of the architecture.\nThe d
 ay begins with an introduction to Sivaraj’s work\, including insights in
 to his film installation »Lunuganga« in the exhibition\, as well as his 
 approach to interpreting architecture through moving images and photograph
 y. He will also discuss the role of the filmmaker or photographer as a med
 iator between the architect’s vision and the audience.\nParticipants wil
 l then take part in a practical exercise on the Vitra Campus\, where they 
 will create their own visual connections using photography\, video\, or a 
 combination of both. Working individually or in small groups\, they will e
 xplore ways of linking images through observation and composition.\nThe wo
 rkshop concludes with a group presentation and discussion\, during which p
 articipants can present their work and reflect on the relationships and di
 alogues that have emerged between their images.\nPlease bring with you:\n

 ndet in Zusammenarbeit mit der Wüstenrot Stiftung statt.\n\nDer Workshop 
 begleitet die Ausstellung »Geoffrey Bawa. Architektur für die Sinne« im
  Vitra Design Museum. Dort ist auch die Filminstallation »Through Lunugan
 ga« des Filmemachers und Künstlers Kavindu Sivaraj zu sehen.\nIm ganztä
 gigen Workshop erkunden die Teilnehmenden\, wie Bilder miteinander in Dial
 og treten können. Im Fokus steht die Entwicklung visueller Beziehungen zw
 ischen Fotografien oder Videoarbeiten\, indem gemeinsame Elemente wie Lich
 t\, Form\, Rhythmus oder die architektonische Intention sichtbar gemacht w
 erden.\nZum Auftakt gibt Kavindu Sivaraj Einblicke in sein künstlerisches
  Schaffen. Anhand seiner Filminstallation »Lunuganga« sowie weiterer Arb
 eiten erläutert er seinen Ansatz\, Architektur durch Fotografie und beweg
 te Bilder zu interpretieren. Darüber hinaus reflektiert er die Rolle von 
 FotografInnen und FilmemacherInnen als Vermittler zwischen der Vision von 
 ArchitektInnen und ihrem Publikum.\nIm anschließenden Praxisteil auf dem 
 Vitra Campus entwickeln die Teilnehmenden eigene visuelle Verbindungen. Mi
 t Fotografie\, Video oder einer Kombination aus beiden Medien untersuchen 
 sie in Einzel- oder Kleingruppenarbeit\, wie Bilder durch Beobachtung\, Pe
 rspektive und Komposition miteinander verknüpft werden können.\nDen Absc
 hluss bildet eine gemeinsame Präsentation mit Diskussion. Dabei stellen d
 ie Teilnehmenden ihre Arbeiten vor und tauschen sich über die Beziehungen
  und Dialoge aus\, die zwischen ihren Bildern entstanden sind.\nBitte mitb
