SUMMARY:Lord of the Flies

DESCRIPTION:In this production we will follow the same story from William 
 Golding's Lord of the Flies\, that follows a group of school aged boys who
  have crashed landed on an island during war times and have to create a so
 ciety for themselves. With our production we put a twist on the same class
 ic story by having it focus on women and non binary performers. With this 
 casting choice the show about the class systems in the world becomes a sto
 ry about the patriarchy and how young women have to navigate through that 
 type of society. Lord of the Flies is a play not only about how humanity c
 an be sucked from these characters but how easy it can be for a society to
  slip into destruction and despair when faced with choices of life and dea
 th.Please read all of the following information for the best possible view
 ing experience.Lord of the Flies will take place outside for the duration 
 of the performance. We suggest to audiences to bring blankets\, towels\, a
 nd/or lawn chairs for the best viewing experience and comfort. We also sug
 gest using sunscreen\, bug spray before the performance and any other thin
 gs you might need. With this performance being outside\, we as a company w
 ill be monitoring the weather and giving updates via our Instagram regardi
 ng time shifts and canceling of performances\, if need be. You can follow

 0pm-7:15pm and when you arrive at the location\, please make your way to t
 he One09 Clubhouse\, here we will check tickets and then shortly before th
 e performance we will walk the audience to the viewing area of the show. T
 he show will start at the earliest at 7:30pm\, but will be determined base
 d on the sun. This performance will have a 15-20 minute intermission\, dur
 ing which the audience will have the opportunity to go back to the clubhou
