DESCRIPTION:Join us for an 8-week workshop series designed to unlock the cr
 eative potential of Ableton Live.\n\nWhether you're a newcomer or looking 
 to refine your skills\, this hands-on deep dive will guide you through cra
 fting your own DJ edits and making your own original tracks.\n\nLearn the 
 art of sampling\, sound design\, looping\, programming drum patterns\, and
  transforming tracks into your own unique expression.\n\nAfter each lectur
 e\, stay for two hours of lab time\, where you can connect with peers\, ex
 change ideas\, collaborate\, and test your tracks on the club's sound syst
 em.\n\nWe recommend beginners commit to the entire series for the best exp
 erience\, but drop-ins are welcome.\n\nSpace is limited\, and tickets are 
 $20 per session.\n\nLaptops with Ableton Live 12 Suite and headphones are

  Record Club for the Advancement of the Arts and JP Solis\, who co-founded
  Dubspot\, one of the first Ableton Certified training centers in North Am
 erica. \n\nJP got his start working at the storied downtown vinyl shop Sat
 ellite Records in New York\, where he assisted the likes of François K an
 d selected records for Hipp-E and Halo of H Foundation. \n\nJP has also wo
 rked as an assistant engineer on major film scores for Spike Lee\, and in 
 the studio with Masters at Work\, David Morales\, Barbara Tucker\, and Rob
