 r anniversary podcast earlier this year.\nBorn in East London and raised i
 n Essex\, Lavan is the youngest in a family of British/Malaysian descent. 
 Having honed his craft through cracked computer software and his father’
 s old funk/soul records\, he was later introduced to house music via his r
 oommate turned label partner. This accidental encounter would lead to his 
 relocation to Berlin\, where the Ascension on Wax record label was created
 . He expertly blends Garage House\, Deep House & UKG to a destinctive soun
 d that guarantees satisfaction on the dancefloor!\n\nSpooky Surf Club foun
 der and resident Eric aka dj flatbeat will be the support act to open and 
 close the night. \n\nGates open at 10 P.M. We advice to come early since w
 e've experienced longer queues and even entry stops at our last events at
