 person living in Britain\, or an ally in the fight for trans liberation? J
 oin us in Manchester on the 7th and 8th of November for Trans Liberation G
 roup’s first National Conference\, where we’ll plot a path for the com
 ing year of struggle against transphobia\, misogyny\, and capitalism in Br
 itain. (Please note that while conference is open to non-members\, only on
 boarded members\, will be eligible to speak and vote in our constitutional
  sessions). You can sign up to join TLG today\, and we will be running onb
 oarding sessions each morning of Conference for any attendees who want to 
 join TLG. Who are TLG?Trans Liberation Group is a national trans-led democ
 ratic organisation. We believe that it's urgent not just to fight back aga
 inst the current attacks on trans rights\, but also to win true trans libe
 ration - not only an end to discrimination against trans people because of
  their identity\, but also an end to all other forms of oppression that ef
 fect trans people disproportionately\, whether that be the dismantling of 
 public healthcare\, which particularly impacts trans kids and trans people
  unable to afford private healthcare\, or the lack of good well-paid jobs 
 or quality affordable housing\, which particularly impact trans people who
  are likely to face both employment and housing discrimination. We aim to 
 do this by building co-ordinated and consistent national organising for tr
 ans liberation\, by developing our members into organisers\, intervening i
 n trade unions and political parties to secure material support\, and work
 ing with existing trans liberation organisations and activists. What is th
 e TLG National Conference?Our National Conference is an opportunity for ou
 r members to set the direction of Trans Liberation Group for the next year
 \, as well as an invitation to anyone who wants to work with us\, find out
  more\, or join in the discussion about how we will win trans liberation.A
 s part of the weekend\, TLG members will be hearing\, debating\, and votin
 g on motions as part of our refounding process\, seeking to build an organ
 isation that can resist and eventually reverse the transphobic onslaught i
 n Britain. But that’s not all - there will be talks\, workshops\, and so
 cials too. (Full agenda for the weekend to follow) Who can attend?Everyone
  - whether you’re trans or cis\, you’re welcome so long as you share o
 ur goal of a society where nobody’s oppressed for being who they are. Wh
