DESCRIPTION:Following the release of the single 'Vote' on May 11th\, Tim Ma
 hon unleashes his new album The Great Kerfuffle\, and he'll be hitting the
  road with his band – also named The Great Kerfuffle. Tim Mahon has a tr
 ack record in multiple areas of Aotearoa music\, and somehow he's also fou
 nd the time to keep writing his own music. His first solo album Music From
  a Lightbulb from 2002\, was cleverly released under the name The Moth. As
  the former bass player of The Plague (1978-1979)\, The Whizz Kids (1979-1
 980)\, and Blam Blam Blam (1980-1982)\, he's been an integral part of thes
 e highly influential Aotearoa bands. Behind the scenes\, Mahon has also be
 en involved witha number of initiatives which have had a long-lasting impa
 ct. He became the project manager at the Otara Music Arts Centre (OMAC) in
  1987\, where he got local band Bamboo signed to PolyGram\, and to open th
 e BB King/U2 show at Western Springs. At the same time producing Proud mus
 ic featuring Sisters Underground and The O.M.C. Also MA-V-ELLE. But this i
 s back to the roots of where it all came from Kiwi rock you'll want to wra
