DESCRIPTION:Le Phonographique aka The Phono opened in 1979 and it's widely 
 regconized as the worlds first gothic nightclub! The Phono was frequested 
 by bands like The Sisters of Mercy\, The Misson\, March Violets and countl
 ess other bands. It soon became a safe haven for all sorts of alternative 
 people who were seen by others as freaks\, weirdos and misfits! Starting i
 n 1981 The Phono ran a Saturday afternoon drinking session. Paying homage 
 to this Hifi Club will be opening from 1pm to 6pm. You can expect to hear 
 a combination of the best punk\, post punk\, newwave\, goth\, grange\, alt
 ernative rock and the best dance floor fillers of the 20th century! Origin
