 and closely connected to the French electronic music scene. Her music is a
  unique fusion of her two cultural roots — Morocco and Belgium — filte
 red through the raw\, dark aesthetics of late-’80s and early-’90s post
 -punk and EBM.\n\nZAATAR creates a distinctive\, uncompromising sonic lang
 uage\, balancing darkness\, trance-inducing grooves and dancefloor energy.
  She gained wider recognition through her collaboration with the cult labe
 l Ritmo Fatale\, founded by Pablo Bozzi\, where she released\, among other
 s\, *Abiad Al Layali*. Most recently\, she became a resident at KHIDI\, on
 e of Georgia’s most important underground clubs. She is currently develo
 ping her own label\, CRVSH\, whose first EP\, *First Crush*\, was released
