  with a strong sense of storytelling and theatricality\, Torralba has beco
 me a regular presence on the Century Room stage\, creating distinctive pro
 grams built around the music she loves. With El Último Café\, she turns 
 toward the romantic Latin repertoire that has long been part of her musica
 l life\, assembling a trio specifically suited to its warmth\, drama\, and
  intimacy.\n\nFeaturing beloved songs like “Sabor a Mí\,” “Bésame 
 Mucho\,” “Amor Eterno\,” and the haunting Argentine tango “El Últ
 imo Café\,” the evening moves through romance\, longing\, heartbreak\, 
 and nostalgia\, drawing from a repertoire of songs that have endured acros
 s generations and borders.\n\nFor the first time at the Century Room\, Tor
 ralba is joined in this trio by Argentine guitarist Maximillian “Maxi”
  Larreaand bassist Thøger Tetens Lund. A native of Rosario\, Argentina\, 
 Larrea is an accomplished tango and folk guitarist\, arranger\, composer\,
  and educator who has toured internationally for more than fifteen years\,
  bringing a deep connection to the musical traditions at the heart of the 
 program.\n\nLund\, one of Tucson’s most distinguished bassists\, spent n
 early two decades touring internationally with Giant Sand and has performe
 d with artists including John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin\, KT Tunstall\, M
 ark Lanegan\, Madeleine Peyroux\, and flamenco great Raimundo Amador.\n\nA
 t the center of the trio is Torralba’s rich\, expressive vocal style and
  instinct for making a song feel personal. Together\, Torralba\, Larrea\, 
 and Lund bring the music down to its most intimate elements: voice\, guita
 r\, and bass. Moving between the tenderness of the bolero and the drama of
  the tango\, El Último Café is an evening built around three musicians\,
