 int of UK soundsystem culture with the cutting edge of dance music. \n\nHi
 s work moves across the wider spectrum of bass\, techno\, broken beat\, an
 d leftfield club music\, with a constant focus on experimentation and push
 ing the possibilities of sound.\n\nWe’re beyond excited to welcome Pears
 on Sound back to PDX for his first solo set in 8 years with support from G
 ardenparty and Petite Syrah.\n\n\nAbout Pearson Sound\nAt the intersection
  of distinct music styles\, David Kennedy\, a.k.a. Pearson Sound \, connec
 ts the blueprint of UK soundsystems to the cutting edge of contemporary da
 ncefloor music. Widely acclaimed as a producer\, DJ and mix engineer—as 
 well as one of the three founders of the Hessle Audio imprint—he is syno
 nymous with a wide-angle view of the bass spectrum.\n\nPearson Sound produ
 ctions\, DJ sets and remixes are all brought to life in high fidelity with
  dark rhythmic grooves\, complex percussive arrangements and exacting melo
 dic details. Contrasting the behind-the-scenes operational nature of Kenne
 dy’s Hessle Audio responsibilities\, his Pearson Sound productions have 
 always cut boldly across a speaker stack\, embracing futurism at every sta
 ge\; this is evident in a run of iconic dancefloor cuts\, from the dub-hea
 vy minimalism of his late 2000s tracks inspired by seminal London clubs FW
