  und Designer Verner Panton (1926–1998) prägte das Design der Nachkrieg
 szeit wie kaum ein anderer. Sein Geburtstag jährt sich 2026 zum 100. Mal.
  Aus diesem Anlass widmet das Vitra Design Museum ihm eine große Ausstell
 ung im Vitra Schaudepot\, die Pantons Schaffen in seiner ganzen Vielfalt z
 eigt – von ikonischen Entwürfen wie dem »Panton Chair« über Leuchten
  und Textildesigns bis hin zu seiner wenig bekannten Architektur. Eine beg
 ehbare Rekonstruktion der legendären »Fantasy Landscape« (1/8) 1970\, m
 acht Pantons revolutionäres Raumverständnis und den Aufbruchsgeist jener
  Zeit unmittelbar erfahrbar. Die Ausstellungsgestaltung verwandelt seine s
 kulpturalen\, farbstarken Welten in ein immersives Erlebnis. Grundlage der
  Schau bildet die umfangreiche Verner Panton-Sammlung im Vitra Design Muse
 um\, die zu den bedeutendsten ihrer Art zählt und eine einzigartige Füll
 e von Objekten\, Zeichnungen\, Modellen und Archivalien umfasst. Die Werks
 chau\, die in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Verner Panton Design AG entsteh
 t\, lädt dazu ein\, einen großen Designer neu zu entdecken – zwischen 
 Pop\, Utopie und organischen Farbwelten.\n\nHe made chairs float from the

 s today: the Danish architect and designer Verner Panton (1926–1998) sha
 ped post-war design like few others. To celebrate the centenary of his bir
 th\, the Vitra Design Museum will dedicate a major exhibition at the Vitra
  Schaudepot to Panton’s work. Showcasing the full breadth of his creativ
 e output – from iconic pieces like the »Panton Chair« to his lighting 
 and textile designs – it will also feature several of his little-known a
 rchitectural projects. A walk-in reconstruction of the legendary »Fantasy
  Landscape« (1/8) 1970\, brings Panton’s revolutionary understanding of
  space and the spirit of the era vividly to life. The exhibition design tr
 ansforms his sculptural\, colour-rich worlds into an immersive experience.
  The show is based on the extensive Verner Panton Collection at the Vitra 
 Design Museum\, which is one of the most important of its kind and compris
 es a unique wealth of objects\, drawings\, models and archival materials.

 AG\, invites visitors to rediscover a visionary designer – between Pop\,
