 ne of the UK's great underrated gems\, Clay returned in 2024 with his firs

 e for lyrical detail recalls John Cooper Clarke and Jarvis Cocker\, while 
 his lo-fi approach might evoke Richard Dawson. But perhaps the influence r
 uns the other way: Dawson cut his teeth on the same live circuits as Clay
