DESCRIPTION:A collective of independent music venues across Aotearoa New Ze
 aland are hosting ROCK’EN’ROL events throughout September and October 
 - bringing communities together and helping rangatahi (aged 18–24) enrol
  for the 2026 General Election. This is a nationwide\, non-partisan initia
 tive to make enrolling easy\, while celebrating the arts and supporting gr
 assroots music venues! In Whitianga we will have live music from talented 
 solo artist Francie Lidgard\, epic rock from Paper Bullets\; great tunes w
 ith DJ Rapid and more music acts being added every day. This is an All Age
 s Gig\, and cos we're licensed premises - you know the drill\, ya legal gu
 ardian with ya will get you in. There's gonna be a sausage sizzle and peep
 s onsite to help you enrol\, or check your enrollment details. Why? New vo
 ter restrictions means voters must be enrolled - and have updated their ad
 dress (if they’ve moved) - by midnight on Sunday 25 October!!! People wi
 ll no longer be able to enrol at a voting place/on the day\, nor can folks
  enrol during the fortnight leading up to election day. Election Day is Sa
 turday 7 November. If you enrol by midnight on Sunday 4 October you’ll b
 e sent an EasyVote card\, making voting faster & easier. High recommend. D
 OORS 4PM - kicking off 4.15PM. Smack in the middle of the school holidays 
 so this will be fun for young and old alike. Open to everyone to attend.\n
